Lawrence E. Buksa

BUKSA- Lawrence E., 74, of Johnstown died October 11, 2023. Born February 20, 1949, the son of Frank and Helen (Kmetz) Buksa. Preceded in death by parents; brother, Frank Buksa; uncle, Joe Buksa; special aunt, Catherine Kmetz; and friend, Robert Ambrovick. Survived by sister, Kathy Feathers; sister-in-law, Carol Buksa, numerous nieces and nephews; and friend, Jim Claycomb. Lawrence loved to build puzzles and play bingo. Friends will be received Tuesday, October 17, 2023, from 4 P.M. to 7 P.M. at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc. The Very Rev. Robert Buczak will hold Panachida at 5:30 PM at the Funeral Home. Funeral service will take place at 10 A.M., Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at Christ the Saviour Cathedral, Very Rev. Protopresbyter Robert Buczak. Committal will take place at St. Stephens Cemetery.
