FORGAS - Lawrence, "Larry" 73; Johnstown, passed away on November 22, 2023. Born November 4, 1950 in Johnstown, son of Bernard "Bernie" and Pearl (Wilk) Forgas. Preceded in death by parents; loving wife, Dolores "Dee" (Dziagwa) Forgas; son, Stephen Forgas; brother, Matthew Forgas; brother-in-law, Joseph Dziagwa; son-in-law, Michael Skovensky; and nephew, Jason Mulvehill. Survived by daughters, Kristen (Bill) Stenger; and Allison Skovensky, all of Johnstown; grandchildren, whom he loved dearly, Dylan, Kaitlyn (Ashton), Austin (Hannah) Svencer; Hannah (Kaiden) Phelan, Olivia and Brianna Skovensky. Also survived by sister, Terri Mulvehill (Patrick); sister-in-law, Veronica Dziagwa; numerous nieces and nephews; and beloved pet "Penny". Larry was a U.S. Navy veteran serving in the Vietnam War. A lifetime member of the American Legion and a 4th Degree Member of the Knights of Columbus. A member of St. Therese Catholic Church, where Funeral Mass will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. the Rev. Bernard Karmanocky OFM. Committal will follow at Grandview Cemetery, where V.F.W.Post 155 Ritual Team will hold military honors. Friends received Sunday from 2 to 8 p.m. at the Francis G.
