Leona R (Vroble) Vranich

VRANICH - Leona R., 92, formerly of Johnstown, PA died July 29, 2023 in Crisfield, Maryland. Born October 25, 1930 the daughter of Leo and Anna (Vrabel) Vroble. She is proceeded in death by parents, husband Stephen Vranich, brother Leo Vroble, brother-in-law Pete McGuirk and daughter-in-law Marlene (Slavich) Vranich married to David. She is survived by children, David of Johnstown, Michael married to Terry (Batdorf) of Trout Run, PA, Annette Married to Gary Kleiman of Fruitland, MD, Mark married to Janice (Burns) of Johnstown, PA and Beverly married to Vernon Payne of Fruitland, MD; 16 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren; sister Joanna McGuirk; and numerous nieces and nephews from both sides of the family. Leona was a former member of the Log Cabin Quilters and an honorary member of the Marine Corps League. Leona loved to travel, enjoyed playing games, and couldn’t wait to watch Wagon Train. Friends will be received Saturday, August 5, 2023, from 9:00 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc. A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, August 5, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. at Resurrection Parish, Rev. George Gulash. Committal will follow at Christ the Saviour Cemetery.
