GRADOS - Linda C., 69; Westmont, passed away on June 14, 2021 at her home. Born September 1, 1951 in Philadelphia, daughter of Dr. William O. and Helen S. (Shoemaker) Crain. Preceded in death by parents; stepmother, Marie Johnson Crain; and brother, Robert Crain. Survived by husband, of 46 years and love of his life, Mike Grados of Westmont; and sons, Lt. Col. Michael Grados USAF and wife Allyson, Syracuse, NY; and Jordan Grados and wife Sophia, Johnstown, PA. Linda was so proud of her grandson, Liam Grados, whom she loved dearly. A sister of William Crain Jr. (Shanna), Jacksonville, FL; Ann V. Wisor (Gary), Altoona, PA; step-sisters, Linda Dickens and Sue Stone; and step-brother, Gary Johnson (Bonnie). Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Graduate of Westmont Hilltop High School Class of 1969, and attended Mercyhurst College and University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown. She started work at her father, Dr. William Crain’s office, where she learned her skill as a Dental Assistant. She was employed at Dr. John Ridella Dental Office, Dr. John Matthew Dental Office and finally at Pursel Dental Office. Linda was a proud member of PEO International, Chapter BZ; The P.E.O. Sisterhood is an international women's organization with a primary focus on providing educational opportunities for female students worldwide. She is a member of Order of Elks Lodge 175, Atta Girls Golf League, Pitt Panthers Tailgate Group, Flood City Corvette Club, and Ligonier Country Club. An officer with Y.M.C.A. Swimming. Linda organized the Pines Swim Team at Quemahoning Reservoir, which led to the re-introduction of the Westmont Hilltop High School Swim Team. A member of St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church, where friends are asked to attend Funeral Mass 11:00 a.m. Friday, the Rev. Msgr. Raymond Balta. Committal will follow at Grandview Cemetery. At the request of the family, there will be no public visitation, however everyone is welcomed to attend church service. A special thank you to Msgr.
