Linda M. (Kingera) Mains

MAINS – Linda M., 77, of Johnstown, went to be with the Lord June 25, 2021. Born October 28, 1943, in Johnstown the daughter of Walter and Mary (Dubinsky) Kingera. Preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Joseph C. Turturica; and second husband, Pastor John F. Mains. She is survived by her son, Joseph, married to Renee (Poborsky) Turturica; step-sons, Derrick, married to Tracyann (Woodring) Mains; and Aaron Mains; brother, Walter, married to Carrie (Mulligan) Kingera.  Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Linda’s passion for the Lord and caring for others was demonstrated throughout her life and career as a nurse at Lee Hospital and currently as a Pastor of Fountain of Life Church where she enjoyed teaching especially children.  She had a love for playing the game of Tennis and also enjoyed watching her son play.  She traveled frequently with her husband and mother and always enjoyed visiting new places and experiencing new things.  She left behind a treasure of fantastic memories that will live on forever with her family and friends. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9 – 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home, Inc., 710 Broad Street. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Fountain of Life Church, 225 2nd Street, Conemaugh, Pastor John Proskine officiating. Interment will take place at Grandview Cemetery.
