Loretta A. Meyers

MEYERS - Loretta, 87; Johnstown, passed away at home on September 1, 2022. Born September 12, 1934 in Johnstown, daughter of Andrew J. and Catherine S. (Mekazick) Frear. Preceded in death by parents; son-in-law, Robert Litzinger; and siblings, Marie Kasay, Catherine Thomas, Anna “Dolly” Kegg, Edward Frear, Clara “Mickey” Burnheimer, Rita Pfeil and twin brothers Andrew and Francis Frear.  Survived by loving husband, of 70 years, John T. Meyers of Johnstown; children, Roxanne Robine (Jim), Dianne Litzinger, John “Bart” Meyers (Tammy), Michael Meyers, Aaron Meyers (Shannon); and grandchildren, Jessica Laskowski (Chad), Anne Marie Byrd (Rick), Chris Litzinger (Jen), Alyshia and John Meyers, Mitchell and Maddy Meyers, Megan, Emily and Ethan Meyers; and four great grandchildren.  A sister of Patricia Lovejoy and Rosamond Pacsai. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend; she will be sadly missed by all who know and love her.  Loretta was a volunteer, for over 20 years, at St. Vincent DePaul Society.  She was an Eucharistic Minister and member of Visitation BVM Catholic Church, where Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, the Rev. John J. Slovikovski. Committal will follow at Richland Mausoleum.  Friends received Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc. Broad Street.
