MIGUT – Marcia Kay, 74; of Yeagertown, PA, wrote her last nursing notes on March 8, 2026. Born on July 12, 1951, in Johnstown, PA. She was the daughter of the late Joseph M. and Margaret (Kocsis) Migut. She is survived by her children, Steven J. (Melenda) Dedmon of Canonsburg, PA, David P. (Alexis) Dedmon of Lewistown, Matthew C. (Valerie) Dedmon of Bellefonte, PA, Krystal L. (Charles) Dean of Yeagertown, with whom she resided, and Leanne M. Dedmon (Lindsey Bumgardner) of Burnham, PA. In addition, she is survived by siblings Christine Sands of New Castle, PA, Kenneth (Annie) Migut of Greer, SC, and Marianne (George) Horbal of Johnstown, PA. She is also survived by grandchildren Caden, Jonathan, Stephanie, Jillian, Alexander, Benjamin, Katherine, Ethan, Anthony, and Autumn, along with many cousins. Marcia graduated from Bishop McCort High School in 1969 and then attended the University of Pittsburgh’s School of Nursing, graduating in 1973. She joined the U.S. Army in 1974, stationed at Fort Monmouth, NJ, as a First Lieutenant. She worked at Patterson Army Hospital in New Jersey. She also worked in a variety of settings, including long-term care, staff nursing at UPMC Latrobe Hospital, and Lewistown Hospital. She served as coordinator for the Practical Nursing Program at the Mifflin-Juniata Vocational Technical School. She ended her career as a clinical manager at Bayada Pediatrics in State College, PA. She also volunteered to help during 9/11. At Marcia's request, there will be no public services.
