Margaret C. (Slavick) Hoffman

HOFFMAN – Margaret C., 86, of Johnstown, died April 4, 2023, in Pittsburgh. Born March 30, 1937, in Johnstown the daughter of Stephen M., Sr. and Rose C. (Demor) Slavick. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Francis S. Hoffman; brothers, Stephen M. Jr. Slavik; Richard and wife, Loretta Slavick; sister, Evelyn and husband Elgene Biber; and brother-in-law, Paul Eck. Survived by her sister, Rosemary Eck; sister-in-law, Danielle Slavik; nieces: Laurie (Harry) Lint; Victoria (Charles) Lermineau; Valerie (Randall) Weaver; great nephews and nieces: Robert (Emily) Lint; Brandon; and Haley Weaver.   Margaret was very active and enjoyed cooking, baking and traveling.  She was employed at Grant’s Department Store and many other places as an office clerk, including Gee Bee. Friends will be received Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home, Inc., 710 Broad Street where funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, Very Rev. Mark Begly, VF. Committal will take place at Grandview Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Resurrection Parish Building Fund, in memory of Margaret.
