Margaret J. (Pacanowski) Mathias

MATHIAS – Margaret J. “Marge”, 99, of Johnstown, passed away March 23, 2026. Born December 1, 1926, in Tyrone, the daughter of the late Kasmir and Mary (Starziski) Pacanowski. Preceded in death by husband, Wilbur Mathias; infant twin brother and sister, George and Helen; infant brother, Richard; brothers, Edward (Kathryn), Ernest (Betty), and Frederick; sisters, Agnes (Allen) Dixon, Mary Ann Sigel and Betty (James) Shock. Marge is the last surviving member of her immediate family. Survived by brother-in-law, Bill Sigel; and numerous nieces and nephews. Marge was a lifelong member of St. Rochus / Resurrection Parish. Friends will be received Friday, March 27, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc. Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 p.m. at Resurrection Parish on Friday, with Rev. George M. Gulash. Committal will immediately follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
