Margaret P. Stofa

STOFA - Margaret P., 98; Johnstown, passed away September 6, 2018 at Conemaugh Hospital.  Born August 27, 1920 in Johnstown; daughter of Joseph and Mary (Bednar) Ondrusko.  Preceded in death by parents; husband, Carl Stofa; son-in-law, Thomas Moran; brothers, Frank, Stephen and John Ondrusko; and sisters, Ann Kopco and Mary Turturica. She is survived by loving children; John Stofa, Latrobe; Christine Moran, Johnstown; and Susan Scott and husband, Philip, Johnstown.  Also survived by grandchildren, Eric Moran, Ian Scott and wife Michelle and Brandi Garbinski and husband Michael; and great grandchildren, Kaylin, Alaina and Michael Garbinski and Evan and Sadie Scott. A sister of Frances Stehnach of California; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was an avid Pittsburgh Pirates fan and loved her family dearly. She enjoyed playing BINGO on Monday nights with her friends.  A member of Resurrection Parish, where Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, the Rev. George M. Gulash. Committal will take place at Grandview Cemetery.  Friends received Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc.
