Margaret Symon

SYMON - Margaret, 96; Johnstown, passed away on January 7, 2026 at home.  Born March 6, 1929 in Johnstown, daughter of John and Mary (Sroka) Dubay. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Steve Dubay and Michael Dubay; and sisters, Delores Allison, Anna Burnheimer, Helen Sakmar and Mary Herman. Margaret was last survivor of her immediate family.  Survived by loving husband, of 75 years, Joseph Symon of Johnstown; son, Eric J. married to Pamela (Trone) Symon of Cullman, AL; and daughter, Karen M. Symon of Johnstown.  Also survived by grandchildren: McKenna Symon and fiancée Mike Jacobs of Wilmington, Delaware and Keegan Symon and wife Vi (Le) of Germantown, Maryland.  A member of St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church. At the request of the family, funeral services will be private. Committal will be at Grandview Cemetery.
