Marion (Bozich) Taylor

TAYLOR – Marion “Bobo”, 95, of Johnstown, passed away May 25, 2026, at Concordia at Arbutus Park. Born May 13, 1931, in Johnstown, the daughter of Nicholas and Stana (Perich) Bozich. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Ray W. Taylor; infant son, Christopher James Taylor; and son-in-law, Bill DeFrehn. Survived by sons, David (Debbie) Taylor and Danny Taylor; daughters, Jencine (Tim) Campagna, Tammy (Dallen) Selders, and Rae DeFrehn; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Marion was an avid reader, enjoyed building puzzles, and dancing. She loved teaching her girls how to cook and bake. Marion, above all, loved her family and had the magic to put all the babies in the family to sleep. She was sharp, devoted, always well dressed, and caring; to meet her was to love her. Marion was very proud of her Serbian heritage and an active participant at St. Nicholas Church, a member of the Mothers Club, a lifelong member of the “Kolo”, and assisted with the Children’s Sunday School. Marion’s love and spirit will truly be missed by all. The family would like to thank the dedicated caregivers at Concordia at Arbutus Park Manor who took such great care of her, loved her, and laughed with her. Also, a debt of gratitude to the caring staff AseraCare Hospice.  Friends will be received Thursday, May 28, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc. Pomen service will take place at 7:00 p.m. at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 29, 2026, at St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church at 10:00 a.m., Fr. Sava (Griscom). Committal will follow at St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Marion to a charity of your choice.
