BICKO - Mary C. “Sis”, 88; Johnstown, passed away on December 12, 2024 at Laurel View Village in Davidsville. Born July 2, 1936 in Johnstown, daughter of Stephen E. and Catherine H. (Hudak) Tavalsky. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Andrew M. Bicko Jr.; brother, Stephen L. Tavalsky; and sisters-in-law, Connie, Gerri and Margie. Survived by sons, David M. (Michele), Rick A. (Lisa), Jeff L., and Brian J. (LaToya), all of Johnstown; grandchildren, Brent (Hanna), Lara, Tara and Haley Bicko; and great grandson, Logan A. Bicko. A sister of Joe Tavalsky, Bill Tavalsky (Nancy) and Frank Tavalsky; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was former employee at Cambria Hardware and Ace’s in Cambria City. Lifelong member of the former St. Stephen Catholic Church. A member of St. Francis of Assisi Church, where Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, the Franciscan Friars OFM Conv. Committal will follow at Grandview Cemetery. Friends received Monday from 9 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc., Broad Street.
