Mary T. (Koenig) Deter

DETER - Mary Theresa (Koenig),  92; Johnstown, passed away October 6, 2019.  Born November 18, 1926 in Johnstown, daughter of Arnold and Regina (Karr) Koenig.  Preceded in death by husband, of 69 years, John L. Deter; daughter, Theresa Taggart; son-in-law, David Griffiths; and brother, James A. Koenig.  Survived by loving children, Patricia (Michael Baum); William (Charlene Omodio); James (Sue); Kathleen (David Ross); Margaret Griffiths; John (Mary Jane Delic) and son-in-law, Kurt Taggart.  Also survived by 14 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Graduate of Johnstown Catholic High School Class of 1945.  A member of Visitation BVM Catholic Church, where Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, the Rev. John Slovikovski.  Interment St. Joseph Cemetery.  Friends received Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Francis G.
