Mary Louise "Marilu" (Seman) Kameliski

KAMELISKI - Mary Louise "Marilu", 81, of Dilltown, died December 23, 2023, at home. Born May 19, 1942, in Johnstown the daughter of Stephen and Cornelia (Malinovsky) Seman. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Kameliski, Jr.; son, Charles "Chuckie" III; and sister, Betty Ann. She is survived by her daughters: Constance "Kawni" (Owen) Kameliski-Larkin; Julienne "Julie" (Peter) Kameliski-Pellerito; and Marilu "Boo" Kameliski; grandchildren: Bethann, Michael, Robert, Gregory and Jessica; and sisters: Connie Hritz and Dorothy Potchatek. Marilu was a member of Resurrection Parish, a former employee of WJAC TV and the Tribune Democrat where she worked for over 25 years. She was the Cheerleading Adviser from Bishop McCort High School for many years, a Girl Scout and Brownie leader, a happy online shopper and was an extremely active mother and grandmother with her daughters and grandchildren over the years. A celebration of life will be held Saturday at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home, 710 Broad Street from 9 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Fr. George Gulash officiating.
