Mary Lou (Machik) Gmuca

GMUCA – Mary Lou, 81, of Johnstown, died June 8, 2025, at Windber Woods. Born August 17, 1943, in Johnstown, she is the daughter of Michael and Mary (Simko) Machik. Preceded in death by parents; husband, George J. Gmuca; brothers and sisters-in-law. Survived by children, Bryan Gmuca and Paula Tkac, both of Johnstown; and grandson, Erik Tkac. Mary worked and later retired as a bakery clerk at Giant Eagle after 20 years. She enjoyed spending her time outside, crocheting, and admiring her flower garden. She was a member of St. Columba Catholic Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and friends. She will truly be missed by many. Committal will take place at Grandview Cemetery on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at 10:00 A.M.
