Mary E. "Sis" Young

YOUNG - Mary E. "Sis", 95; Johnstown, passed away September 18, 2025 at Arbutus Park Manor.  Born July 10, 1930 in St. Michael, PA daughter of Edward and Mary (MacTavish) Swansboro.  Preceded in death by parents; 1st husband, Francis Serenko; 2nd husband, James H. Young; son, Jimmy Young; and daughter, Mary Stegman; and five brothers. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.  Survived by children, Renae Hunter, Tom Yourich, Corinne Richards, Janice Mills (Bill), Frank Serenko (Kerry), with whom she resided; and Mark Young (Tammy); special granddaughter, Libby Delusa (Allen), and special great granddaughters, Taylor (Ron Neville) and Cassie (Ryan Moran) Delusa; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.  Friends received Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc., Broad Street, where funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to her family.
