Mary Ann (Malinak) Robatin

ROBATIN – Mary Ann, 87, of Johnstown, died September 4, 2024, at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. Born August 11, 1937, in Johnstown, the daughter of John and Anna (Zahurak) Malinak. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Edward Robatin; sister, Margaret Prebola; and brother-in-law, Joseph Prebola. Survived by daughters, Kathy married to Darren Mock, and Karen Robatin; grandchildren, Melissa Rogers married to Christopher and Marilyn Haggerty; great-grandson, Troy (Detroit); brother, Jack married to Beverly (Wilson); nephew Brian Prebola married to Sonya; and niece Tracy Malinak. Mary Ann was a former member of St. Stephens Parish and a current member of Resurrection Parish. Mary Ann enjoyed helping cook for the Ladies Guild. She was an avid Steelers, Penguins and Pirates Fan. Many thanks to all of Mary Ann’s care givers at Heritage Ridge for all their support and care over the past few years. Mary Ann was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt. She will truly be missed by many. Friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 8 p.m. Sunday, September 8, 2024, at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc. Funeral Mass will take place at 10 a.m. at Resurrection Parish Monday, September 9, 2024, Rev. George M. Gulash. Committal will follow at Grandview Cemetery.
