Mary Catherine (Ondrejcak) Felix

FELIX – Mary Catherine, 97; of Johnstown, passed away peacefully at home on  November 16, 2025. Born September 28, 1928, in Johnstown, daughter of Stephen P. and Anna A. (Hajduk) Ondrejcak. Preceded in death by parents; husband, William Felix; and brother, James S. Ondrejcak.  Mary Catherine was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Survived by her loving children: John Felix; Anne, wife of George Demchak; Tom, married to Allison (Hesterly) Felix; and Louise, wife of Daniel Green;  8 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; many beloved nieces and nephews; and her truly valued neighbors. Mary Catherine began her career as a Registered Medical Technologist at Windber Hospital. Mary Catherine retired from the American Red Cross. Mary Catherine was devoted to her family and loved spending time with them. Mary Catherine was devout in her faith and a member of Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church. Friend will be received Monday, November 24, 2025 from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc. A funeral Mass will follow at 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 24, 2025 at Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church, the Very Rev. Mark S. Begly, V.F. Committal will take place at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Mary Catherine to a charity of your choice.
