Mary Eileen (Orlosky) Rager

RAGER – Mary Eileen, 93, of New Florence, died June 30, 2023, at Excela Health Latrobe Hospital due to complications from a fall. Born November 16, 1929, in Johnstown, the daughter of George and Antonia (Nacosky) Orlosky. Preceded in death by her parents; loving 1st husband of 22 years, Joseph Gall from Decker Avenue; loving life partner of 34 years, Fred Willard Carney from Armagh; second husband and the final love of her life, Earl Norman Rager, Sr; brothers; Thomas, Robert, and Bernard Orlosky; and sister, Thelma Cameron; stepson, Joel Carney; and stepdaughter, Janet Carney.

Survived by her daughter, Stacy Myers; and adopted sister, Sylvia Patton.

Mary Eileen was a great businesswoman.  She opened her ice cream stand, Frosty Way, in New Florence in 1967, employing countless young ladies through the years. In 1971 she purchased property and developed Stacy Mobile Home Court. She retired in 2007 after being in business for 40 years creating opportunities for all her employees.

Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home, Inc., 710 Broad Street where vigil service will be held. Funeral Mass will be held 11 a.m. Monday at St. Therese Catholic Church, 536 Decker Avenue, Johnstown, PA 15906, Fr. Francis Balestino officiating.
