Mary Lou Kalenak

KALENAK - Mary Lou, 91; formerly of Johnstown, passed away on December 24, 2024 in Ebensburg, PA.  Born January 17, 1933 in Johnstown, daughter of Frank and Margaret (Robine) Mosholder.  Preceded in death by parents; husband, George Kalenak; and son, Richard Kalenak.  Survived by loving children, Karen A. Sweeney and husband Charles of Cleveland, OH; and Patrick A. Kalenak and life partner Jen Witmer of Lancaster, PA; grandchildren, Meghan Sweeney, and husband Thomas Walker; Matthew Sweeney and fiancée Katie Koontz; and two great grandchildren.  Mary Lou was a Registered Nurse for Mercy Hospital, starting her career in the Pediatric Unit and later employed with the American Red Cross.  She was a loving, wife, mother and grandmother and will be sadly missed by her family.  Private funeral services and committal will be held at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements by Francis G.
