Michael Wayne Delich

DELICH – Michael Wayne, 66, of Johnstown, died May 15, 2024, at Windber Woods Senior Living. Born August 21, 1957, in Johnstown the son of Michael and Sylvia (Thomas) Delich. Preceded in death by his parents and brothers, William and Donald Delich. Survived by his daughters, Courtney Delich and Caitlin Delich; grandchildren: Melaya, Melijah, and Ma’Kylah; sisters, Marilyn, married to Dennis Alberter; and Jeanne, married to Michael Susko and sisters-in-law, Karen Delich and Paula Delich. Also survived by nieces and nephews: Christopher (Kim) Alberter, Danielle (Josh) Peterman, Jamie (R.J.) Esch, Amanda Susko, Ashley Delich, Jared Delich, and Victoria Delich, Domanic, Grady, Ronan, Jack, Riley. Michael was a member of the Russian Club, Croatian Hall, Polski Dom, American Legion Post 294, and Catholic War Vets. Michael worked at Johnstown America and was retired from Sheetz where he was a delivery driver. He was an avid Notre Dame, Pittsburgh Pirates and Pittsburgh Penguins fan. Friends will be received Friday from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home, Inc. 710 Broad Street. Funeral Mass will be held 12 p.m. Friday at St. Therese Catholic Church, Fr. Bernard Karmanocky, OFM. Committal will take place at Grandview Cemetery.
