Michael D. Janisko

JANISKO – Michael, 61, of Johnstown, died September 10, 2023, at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. Born August 30, 1962, in Patterson, NJ, the son of Richard Janisko and Janet G. (Martin) Janisko. Preceded in death by his parents. Survived by his loving wife, Laurie (Davis) Janisko; daughter, Christine M. Janisko and wife, Ellen Bachman; and brother, Jeffrey J., married to Milissa (Marcinko) Janisko.  Michael was a US Army Reserve Veteran of the 130th Chemical Company, member of St. Matthew Anglican Church, Croatian Lodge #5, and the Lower Yoder Fire Department where he served as Chief, Assistant Chief and President.  Friends will be received Tuesday from 4 - 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m.at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc. Broad Street, Fr. Douglas Blakelock officiating. Committal will be held at Richland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to The Lower Yoder Fire Department or St. Matthew Anglican Church, in memory of Michael.
