KLUCHAR - Mildred, 97; of Geistown; passed away December 2, 2018 at Allegheny Lutheran Home of Johnstown. Preceded in death by parents; husband John W. Kluchar Sr.; sisters, Mary, Ann, Veronica; brothers, Mickey Mekine, Daniel and Ludwig Likovich. Survived by sister Mamie Markovich of Painesville, Ohio; children, Ernestine (David), John (Ann), Genevieve (Ron), Brian (Cindy); six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren and many dear nieces and nephews. Millie was a waitress at The Hofbrau Restaurant for 23 years. A Tanneryville resident and survivor of the 1977 Johnstown Flood. Member of Saint Benedict's Church, and member of Legion of Mary. She was a 70 year member at the SNPJ, Democratic Party Committee Woman, and Windber Hospice volunteer. She was loving and giving, and will be sadly missed by family and friends. A special thanks to niece, Cindy Santichen for her love, caring and support. We are grateful for Bill Weaver (who Mildred called her other son); together with Larry Hockensmith, Marie Golf, many loving neighbors, friends, Interim aids, and nurses. Friends received Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc., Broad Street. Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday at St. Benedict Catholic Church.
