HEWITT- Nancy Lee, 76, of Johnstown, passed away surrounded by her loving family on February 3, 2026, at Hilltop Heights. Born June 1, 1949, in Johnstown, the daughter of Harold Dean and Martha T. (Morihlatko) Kyle. Preceded in death by parents; and her loving husband, William Hewitt. Survived by daughters, Tammy (Brian) Schompert, Sherry Strashensky, and Lisa (John) Horner; grandchildren, Samantha (Lukas), Michael Jr., Cody (Adelyn), and Kyle; great-grandchildren, McAlistar, Temperance, and Dean; sister-in-law, Georgia Hewitt; uncle, Francis Morihlatko; aunts, Virginia Morihlatko and Ethel Morihlatko; and numerous cousins. Nancy spent her career in health care, where she worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse until her retirement. Nancy also enjoyed spending her time listening to Elvis, crocheting, reading, and working in her flower beds. She loved caring for animals, even the neighborhood strays. Most of all, Nancy adored and loved spending time with her grandchildren, who truly meant the world to her. Nancy was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, niece, sister-in-law, and cousin. She will truly be missed by many. Friends will be received Sunday, February 8, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc. Broad St., where the Cambria County Nurse Honor Guard will assemble at 2:00p.m. Funeral service will be held Monday, February 9, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc., Rev. George M. Gulash. Committal will follow at Benshoff Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Nancy to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation at www.give.bcrf.org
