Patricia Deskevich

DESKEVICH - Patricia, 78; Benshoff Hill, passed away at home on June 2, 2022.  Born May 31, 1944 in Johnstown, daughter of Juan and Domatila (DeLeon) Mejia.  Preceded in death by parents; husband, Alex Deskevich; sisters, Maria Porch and Victoria Ball; and brothers, Ysabel Mejia and Alexander Mejia.  Survived by loving children, Brenda married to Kevin Sheehan of Windber; Louis Deskevich married to the former Rebecca Miske of Johnstown; and Neil Deskevich married to the former Yen Tu of Ohio.  Also survived by grandchildren, Alex, Eliot and Ava Deskevich; Briana Pereira, Alyssa Miller (Nate); Lia and Taten Deskevich.  A sister of Juan Mejia Jr. (Joyce) and Phyllis Stevens (Paul), both of Virginia; and Louis Mejia (Bev) of Indiana. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.  Patricia was a Knights of Columbus Council 467 Ladies Auxiliary. She was a member of the Ladies Guild of the former St. Columba Church. A member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church where she loved to cook and volunteer for many church events.  Friends received Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc., Broad Street. Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, the Franciscan Friars OFM Conv.
