Paulette (Kaminsky) Balog

BALOG – Paulette, 69, of Brownstown, died March 9, 2022, at home. Born September 20, 1952, in Johnstown the daughter of Walter A. and Julia (Appley) Kaminsky. Preceded in death by her parents; father-in-law, John E. Balog, Sr.; uncles, Edward and George Kaminsky; and aunts, Helen Pencola, Irene Magistro, Margaret Swete, Mary Stinich, Anne Appley, and Julia Rzesutek.  Survived by her loving husband of 47 years, John E. Balog, Jr.; mother-in-law, Patricia (Saintz) Balog; brothers-in-law: James, Joseph, Jeffrey, and Jerry Balog; and sisters-in-law, Jean, wife of William Livingston, Jr.; and Joan Shetler. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Paulette will be remembered as a kind and loving wife, sister-in-law and friend who will be missed by all who had the pleasure to know her.  A member of St. Michael Catholic Church, Brownstown where funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, the Very Rev. Mark S. Begly, V.F.  Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home, Inc., 710 Broad Street where vigil service will be held. Committal will take place at Grandview Mausoleum.
