McNULTY (SUTTON) – Pauline M., 88, of Johnstown, died January 28, 2024, at the Patriot Manor, Somerset. Born October 22, 1935, in Johnstown, the daughter of Edward L. and Clara (Cowan) Sutton. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Samuel N. McNulty; sisters: Eileen Dalzel, Rosemary Kresso; and brothers: Francis, James, and Richard Sutton. She is the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by her children: Sally Thompson, Atlanta; Mary, married to Keith Barkhymer, Pittsburgh; Sam McNulty, Johnstown; Kathleen, married to William Saylor, Pittsburgh; and Polly, married to Scott Close, Somerset; grandchildren: Zachary, Emily, Luke, Jacob, Joey, Michael, Connor, Kathryn, Anna, Elizabeth, and Molly and great-grandchildren: Zander, Declan, and Theo. She was also survived by special loved family members Nancy Wessell and Fr. Charles M. Amershek. Pauline was a member of the former St. Rochus Catholic Church where she was a Eucharistic Minister and very active in church functions. She was a nurse at the Bethlehem Steel Dispensary, where she met her husband, Sam. She worked in the emergency room at Mercy Hospital, was a Home Healthcare Nurse and volunteered at the West End Food Pantry for many years. Pauline was also a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians. She will be remembered as the most loved Bubby by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She had a life well lived! Pauline is currently a member of St. Clement Catholic Church where funeral Mass will be held 11 a.m. Friday Fr. William E. Rosenbaum and Fr. Charles M. Amershek officiating. Friends will be received from 2-7 p.m. Thursday at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home, Inc., 710 Broad Street where vigil service will be held. Private committal will take place at St. Benedict Catholic Cemetery, Carrollton, PA. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the West End Food Pantry, 1348 R. Virginia Avenue, Johnstown, PA 15906, in memory of Pauline.
