KUTCHMA – Peter, 92, died November 7, 2023, at home. Born July 17, 1931, in Johnstown, the last surviving member of his immediate family of Ukrainian heritage, the son of Michael and Anasthasia (Cosharik) Kutchma. Preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ingrid M. (Mogilewicz) Kutchma; brothers: John, Mickey, Michael, Charles, Nicholas, and Joseph; and sisters: Mary Ray, Katherine Mansueto, Emma Vargo, Rose Ellsworth, Ann Barelich, and Agnes Kutchma. Peter was. He is survived by his daughters, Diana, married to John Seese; and Michelle Kutchma; grandchildren: Ingrid, John P. Seese, Amanda, and Kelsey; and 6 great-grandchildren. Peter was sincerely grateful for the loving companionship of Nancy and had a loving friendship with Al and Nikki Fyock and Brian and Marissa Bazyk. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. A US Army Veteran serving in Germany where he met and married his wife, Ingrid. Peter retired from Bethlehem Steel working in the Gautier Division. He had a compassionate love for St. Therese Catholic Church where he was a member and loved to serve. Friends will be received on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home, Inc., 710 Broad Street where vigil service will be held. Funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m. Friday at St. Therese Catholic Church, Fr. Bernard Karmanocky, O.F.M. Committal will be held at Grandview Cemetery.
