Philip T. Duriga

DURIGA – Philip Thomas, 65, went to be with the Lord on February 1, 2022. Born December 29, 1956 in Johnstown.  Philip was the son of John and Ann (Dadey) Duriga. Preceded in death by parents and brothers, Richard “Muggs” and Raymond Duriga. Survived by nieces, Joyce Duriga and Denise Duriga. Philip was a former employee of the State of Minnesota Department of Transportation Accounts Payable, which he took pride in as well as enjoyed both the work and joking with fellow co-workers. Philip was known to get along with everyone he met and was known to be a charmer to the ladies. Philip was known to have a kind soul and enjoyed being in the public.  Philip also attended BRAC, Brotherhood of Railway and Airline Clerk, in Minneapolis, MN, and enjoyed collecting models of various means of transportation. Friends will be received from 9 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, February 15, 2020, at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home, Inc., 710 Broad Street.  Funeral Mass will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Franciscan Friars O.F.M. Conv. Committal St. Francis Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make donations to St. Jude’s or St. Vincent DePaul Society.
