Pierre-Marie Jean Ahlstrom

AHLSTROM - Pierre-Marie Jean (Francis). Born September 20, 1982 in Plainfield, NJ died on August 22, 2025 in New Orleans, LA after a courageous battle with gliomablastoma. He is survived by his parents, Dr. Brian and Renee (Boussard) Ahlstrom; his brother, Mathieu (Randall) Ahlstrom; his godmother, Irene Simmons, her daughter Vonda; and his precious and beloved son Patrice Joseph.  Pierre was a graduate of Westmont Hilltop High School.  He got his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY.  He was a talented artist who traveled the world in search of creative communities.  He was passionate and loving. His love for humanity was an inspiration and will be missed.  “Nous sommes bien peu de chose, et mon amie la rose esd morte ce matin”.  Family and friends will be received from 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. on October 10, 2025 at St. Clement Catholic Church, the Rev. William E. Rosenbaum. Committal will follow at Grandview Mausoleum.
