Richard Homola

Richard Francis Homola, 77, of Statesville, NC, died Sunday, October 30, 2022.
He was born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, on November 3, 1944 to the late Emil Homola and Kathryn Vandrak Homola.
Richard served his country in the US Air Force. He retired from Engineered Sintered Components in Troutman, and later worked at the Statesville Auto Auction. Richard was a member of St. Philip the Apostle Church and enjoyed being a member of the Knights of Columbus. He loved Pittsburgh Steelers football and dancing.
Richard is survived by two daughters, Amanda and Lacy and a sister, Janet Stiffler (John).
Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at 11:00 am at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church. Burial will take place in Pennsylvania.
