Richard L. Stuver

STUVER -Richard L., 74, of Johnstown, went to be with the Lord on October 5, 2023. Born July 25, 1949, in Johnstown, son of the late Elbert and Betty (Mowery) Stuver. Preceded in death by infant daughter, Brandi; and brother David.  Survived by his loving wife, Kathleen (Glacken) Stuver; son, Richard W. “Ricky”; and daughter, Amber. He was the brother of Greg, Darlene, Jackie, and Pat.  Richard was a graduate of Conemaugh Township High School and was a US Air Force Veteran.  He retired with over 40 years as a Certified Respiratory Therapist working at Lee Hospital, St. Mary Hospital, Leonardtown, MD, and numerous private respiratory therapy companies.  Richard was the Assistant Executive Director of the Cambria City Mission where he would preach on occasion. He loved his kitties, especially Tia Maria.  He was a dedicated husband and father and will be sadly missed.  A celebration of Richard’s life will be held at a later date.
