PFEIL - Riecky Karl, 55; Johnstown, died June 27, 2022 at Conemaugh Hospital. Born August 11, 1966 in Fulda, Germany, son of Ronald and Monika (Weigard) Pfeil. Preceded in death by parents; brother, Randy; and step-sister, Denita (Clark) Richards. Survived by step-mother, Arlene Pfeil; brother, Robert Pfeil (Kimberly); and step-brothers, David (Tammy) and Mike (Mary Ann). A fiancée of Mary Way and her children, who he loved as his own, Chris (Brooke), Brandy, Amanda; his special grandchildren, Devin, Alec, Marcus, Mason, Morrigan, and his best car buddy, Brayson, Red and Jade. Also survived by nieces and nephews, Trevor, Drew, Madeleine and Nadia. He was a lifetime member of the Dale Boro. Fire Company. A proud member of the Johnstown Street Survivors Car Club. He was a mechanic at Memorial Chevrolet in Windber. Riecky was an avid car enthusiast, who loved to restore classic cars. Riecky would help any one he could with their cars and for many he would say, “Buy the brakes and I will slap them on for you.” He mostly took less than he should, because he wanted to help others out. He enjoyed attending Chrysler Carlisle, every year with Mary. Riecky is an organ donor. As his final act of giving to others, his gift of self will help many others live a longer life. He will be sadly missed by his family, friends and all who knew him. Friends received Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc., Broad Street where funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday. Committal will follow at Grandview Cemetery.
