Robert J. Ressler

RESSLER - Robert J., 92; Johnstown; passed away on June 4, 2026 at the McCullough Place.  Born March 14, 1934 in Johnstown, son of Irvin and Margaret (Saunders) Ressler.  Preceded in death by parents; loving wife, Agnes (Yuhas) Ressler; brothers, James and John Ressler; and sisters, Margaret “Nancy” Waversack and Shirley Beblar.  He was the last survivor of his immediate family. Survived by numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews and Godchildren.  A U.S. Army M.P. veteran, and reservist.  Retired security for Lockheed Corp., and Watkins Johnson Company in Palo Alto, CA.   At Robert’s request their will be no visitation. Friends and family are welcomed to attend Funeral Mass, 10:00 a.m. Monday, at Resurrection Parish, the Rev. George M. Gulash.  Committal will follow at Grandview Mausoleum. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at McCullough House and all the staff at Heartland Hospice, especially Dani, for their loving and compassionate care.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Resurrection Parish in his memory.
