Robert L. Tauber Sr.

TAUBER - Robert L. Sr., 89; Johnstown, passed away on October 29, 2021.  Born June 10, 1932 in Johnstown, son of William and Elizabeth Tauber.  Preceded in death by parents; beloved wife, Sylvia J. (Bulick) Tauber; infant brother, Francis Tauber; and brother, William Tauber.  Survived by son, Robert L. Tauber Jr. married to the former Lynn Sunseri; daughter, Karin Helsel and husband Gary, all of Johnstown; and grandchildren, Stephanie Rosendale and Robbie Tauber.  He was a 3rd Armored Division U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. Retired Line Department for Penelec. A member of Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church, where funeral Mass will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, the Very Rev. Mark S. Begly, VF.  Committal will follow at Grandview Cemetery, where Conemaugh Valley Detachment 287 Marine Corp League will hold honors.  Friends received Thursday from 2 to 8 p.m. at the Francis G.
