Robert "Bob" E. Armann

ARMANN – Robert E. “Bob”, 78, formerly of Johnstown, passed away June 22, 2026. Born February 14, 1948, in Sharon, PA. The son of Roy Sr. and Margaret (Flynn) Armann. Preceded in death by parents; loving wife, Patricia A. Armann; brothers, Roy “Jim” Armann, and Frances Armann; sisters, Ellen Bingham, and Mary Difrischia. Robert is the last surviving member of his immediate family. Survived by children, Robert “Bobby” Armann Jr. married to Karen, Trecia A. McGinniss married to Charles III, and John E. Groman; granddaughter, Maria Armann; and great-grandson, Jessie Armann. Robert was a proud United States Army veteran who faithfully served his country after being drafted during the Vietnam War in 1971. Following his military service, he dedicated many years to caring for others as an Emergency Room Technician at Lee Hospital and Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, where he worked until his retirement. On July 24, 1987, Robert married the love of his life, Patricia. From that day forward, he was a devoted and caring husband, steadfastly supporting and caring for her throughout their marriage and especially during her illness until her passing. His kindness, loyalty, and unwavering commitment to those he loved will be remembered by all who knew him. Friends will be received Friday, June 26, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc. Funeral Service will immediately follow at 1:00 p.m., Fr. Canice McMullen. Committal will follow at Benshoff Hill Cemetery. Military Honors will be presented by the V.F.W. Post 155 Ritual Team. The family would especially like to thank Cedarwood Nursing Home and staff in Tyrone for their dedicated care of Robert and support over the last 3 years.  The family would also like to thank the wonderful staff at Grane Hospice for their help in keeping Robert comfortable and the support they provided to Trecia and family over the last week.
