DURAY – Ronald J., 80, of Johnstown, died June 13, 2025, at Windber Hospice. Born October 20, 1944, in Johnstown, he is the son of John and Hilda (Neatrour) Duray. Preceded in death by parents; and brother, Richard Duray. He is survived by the love of his life, Linda Ooghe; sister, Patricia Sigg married to Robert of Johnstown; sister-in-law, Betty (Saltsgiver) Duray of Johnstown; granddaughters, Lauren Ooghe, and Megan Howell; nieces, Linda, MaryAnn, Michelle, and Dana; and nephews, Larry and Eric. After graduating from High School Ronald worked in the local Steel Mill. He then went on to work at the New Cumberland Army Depot where he later retired. Ronald was a proud United States Army Veteran who served his country during the Vietnam-Era. He also loved supporting the Pittsburgh Steelers, Pittsburgh Pirates, and the Pittsburgh Penguins. Ronald also enjoyed traveling with Linda and taking bus trips. Ronald was a lifelong member of St. Mary Byzantine Catholic church. A memorial visitation will take place on Friday, June 20, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 20, 2025, at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc., Rev. Timothy Fariss. Committal will follow at St. Mary Byzantine cemetery. Militay Honors presented by the Conemaugh Valley Detachment 287 Marine Corp League Ritual Team.
