LOCHER – Ronald, Sr. “Ink”, 88, of Johnstown died March 15, 2021, at Memorial Medical Center. Born February 26, 1933, in Johnstown the son of Henry and Freida (Felix) Locher. Preceded in death by his parents; loving wife, Janet L. Locher; and brothers, Henry “Heno”, Melvin, Bernard “Mitt”, Larry “Dean”. Survived by his loving children: Connie, wife of Eugene Gates; Rhonda, wife of Bruce Kline; Vicki, wife of Thomas Goldberg; Lisa, wife of Harry Beisel; and Ronald Locher, Jr., all of Johnstown; grandchildren: Christine, Jamey, Bruce, Ryan, Amanda, Todd, Marisa, and Leanna; great-grandchildren: Nathan, Kylie, Luke, Hayden, Emily, Brextyn, and Maylee; brother, Arnold; and sister, Donna Martin. Also survived by nephews, nieces and special neighbor-daughter, Kitty Stewart. Ink was the owner and operator of Ron Locher Demolition and Excavating, LLC where his dedication and outstanding work ethic were always on display. He looked forward to spending time with his family. Ink will always be remembered as a gentle giant who was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather and our hero. Friends will be received 2-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home, Inc., 710 Broad Street where funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Thursday. Interment will take place at Benshoff Hill Cemetery.
