McGUIRE – Ronald, 79, entered into the hands of his Lord and Savior on October 23, 2021. Born May 1, 1942, in Johnstown the son of Hayden and Irene (Zubay) McGuire. Preceded in death by his parents; wife of 56 years, Lois (Allison) McGuire; son, Ronald McGuire; and sisters, Maureen McGuire and Dorothy Vivis. He is survived by his children: Michael McGuire and special friend, Susan Seth; Monica, wife of Robert Hess; and Keith McGuire; grandchildren: Michael, Jr.; and Amanda (fiancé Gianni); Bobby (Cody); and Kennedy (husband, Tyler); and Logan; great-grandchildren: Dustin, Abby, Carder, Reagan, Lilly and one on the way; and brother, Gerald (Gloria) McGuire. Also survived by daughter-in-law, Jamie McGuire; along with numerous nieces and nephews. Ronald was a member of St. Clare of Assisi Catholic Church. He was retired from Bethlehem Steel Corp and was a US Marine Corp Veteran of the Vietnam War. Friends will be received from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home, Inc., 710 Broad Street where vigil service will be held. Funeral Mass will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday at St. Clare of Assisi Catholic Church, Fr. George Gulash officiating. Committal will take place at Ss Peter and Paul Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to either St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, KS 66675, two charities that were near and dear to Ronald’s heart.
