TAVALSKY – Ronald “Ronzo”, 65, of Johnstown died March 25, 2020, at Memorial Medical Center. Born October 26, 1954, in Johnstown the son of James and Eleanor (Sarisky) Tavalsky. Preceded in death by his parents; and brother-in-law, John Piskurich. Survived by his sister, Beverly (Tavalsky) Piskurich; brother, Aloysius Tavalksy and wife Joy; loving nieces, Kathy Ann Kapcsos and husband Ron Kapcsos, Jr.; Therese Rizzolino and husband Robert; and nephews Jason John Piskurich and wife Laura; Greg Tavalsky and wife Nancy; and Bruce Tavalsky. Also survived by numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. Ron was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church where he enjoyed being an usher on Sundays; and Russian Club. Due to the Coronavirus there will be no visitation and a private funeral Mass will be held for immediate family at St. Therese Catholic Church, Fr. Bernard Karmanocky, O.F.M. Committal will be at St. Francis Cemetery.
