Rose M. (Fetsko) Hiravi

HIRAVI – Rose M., 84, died January 12, 2021, at her home. Born July 6, 1936, in Johnstown the daughter of George and Anna (Chuba) Fetsko. Preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, Thomas F. Hiravi; brother, Richard Fetsko; and sisters, Florence Slivinsky, and Magdaline Ballow.  She is survived by her children, Thomas A., married to Karla (Freeburg) Hiravi, and Karen, wife of Ed Lynn; grandchildren: Thomas J. (Jordan) Hiravi; Rebekah Ann (Matt) Stombaugh; Sarah Marie (Kevin) Schropp; and Aaron Edward (Elyssa) Lynn; great-grandchildren: Tucker Schropp; Eleonora Lynn; Elena Lynn; and Nora Stombaugh; and a brother, George, married to Mary Ann (Molnar) Fetsko.   Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.  Rose was an active member of Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church and was involved in knitting groups at the Cambria County Library. Rose was a kind and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who loved spending time with her family.  Friends will be received from 2-7 p.m. Friday at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home, Inc., 710 Broad Street where vigil service will be held.  Funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church, the Very Rev. Mark S. Begly, V.F. officiating. Committal will take place at Grandview Cemetery.
