Rose Ann Slezak

SLEZAK - Rose Ann, 81; passed away August 20, 2020 in Johnstown. Born May 6, 1939 in Cooper Township, Clearfield County; daughter of Emil and Nellie (Millehouse) Cassick.  Preceded in death by parents; husband, Joseph J. Slezak; son, Robert Miller; brothers, John, Roger, Bruce, Charles, William, Leslie and James; and sisters, Vivian, Joyce and Fay.  Survived by son, Raymond Miller married to Sandra (Speigle), Johnstown; and daughter, Patricia Solis married to Mark Pasquerilla, Pittsburgh.  Also survived by grandchildren, Daryl, John and Aaron Miller; and great grandchildren, Nora and Mavis.  A sister of Robert E. Cassick and wife, Marilyn, Johnstown.  Rose was a retired teacher’s aide for many years, serving the Greater Johnstown School District. She was a great cook and made the best piroghi’s.  A member of the First United Methodist Church in Johnstown.  Friends received Wednesday from 4:00  p.m. until time of Memorial Service at 7:00 p.m. at the Francis G.
