LONCELLA - Rosemary J. “Pinky”, 97; formerly of the West End, passed away on June 24, 2022 at the Lutheran Home of Johnstown. Born October 26, 1924 in Johnstown, daughter of Paul and Mary (Kitsko) Schullik. Preceded in death by parents; husband, John T. Loncella; daughter, Marsha Loncella; brothers, John and Paul Schullik; and sisters, Ann Kessel, Sophia Timmeney, Margaret Komara, Mary Schullik and Velma Holland. She was the last survivor of her immediate family. Survived by numerous nieces and nephews. A member of St. Therese Catholic Church. Pinky was an avid pinochle player and belonged to several card clubs. She was a faithful pirogi maker at St. Therese’s. To the staff at Allegheny Lutheran Home, we are grateful for your care and compassion for our aunt. You acted as family when we couldn’t be there with her. Thank You to 365 Hospice Care, we appreciate what you do. Friends received Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc., Broad Street, the Rev. Bernard Karmanocky OFM. Committal will follow at Grandview Cemetery. Donations in memory of Rosemary may be made to St. Therese Catholic Church, 551 Decker Ave., Johnstown, PA 15906 or to the Allegheny Lutheran Social Ministries at 807 Goucher Street Johnstown, PA 15905.
