Sandy L. Simko

SIMKO - Sandra L., “Sandy”, 59; Johnstown, passed away on September 21, 2020 at home.  Born May 23, 1961 in Johnstown, daughter of Richard “Red”, and Evelyn (Lint) Warner.  Preceded in death by parents and brother, Thomas C. Warner.  Survived by loving husband, together for 44 years and married for 38 years, Mark Simko of Johnstown; daughters, Sheena Simko-Hollingshead and husband Justin of Johnstown; and Mallori Simko, of Topanga, CA; and grandchildren, Eva Lynn, Dominick and Bentley.  Also survived by three siblings, including very special and loving sister Denise Rygel and her husband Rod, of Johnstown; and numerous friends who became part of our family.  Sandy enjoyed Harley-Davidson rides with her husband Mark. She was an accomplished cake baker and decorator, including wedding cakes. She loved crafting and would share many gifts she made with friends and family.  A member of St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church.  Due to covid restrictions, private Funeral Services and committal will be held by family.  Please omit flowers or trees.
