Shirley M. Bunn

BUNN—Shirley M., 75; Johnstown, passed away on January 4, 2020 in Lillington, NC.  Born June 1, 1944 in Johnstown, daughter of Joseph and Mary (Kopco) Mateljan.  Preceded in death by parents.  Survived by best friend and loving husband, of 55 years, Terry Bunn, Johnstown; and children, Tracey married to Sam Camut, Cary, NC; Karen married to Chad McDowell, Cary, NC; and Brian Bunn, Lillington, NC.  Also survived by grandchildren, Joseph Camut and wife Valerie; Brittany and husband Blake Caruso; Samuel Camut, Ashley McDowell, Jadeyn McDowell, Cameron Bunn and Dylan Bunn; and Great Grandchildren, J.J. and Vincent Camut.  A sister of Mary Jane Gallagher of Indiana.  Shirley was a member of the Moose Lodge in Dunn, NC; Keith Hills Country Club and an “Atta-girls” Golf League player, former Duck Pin bowling champion in Johnstown; former member of the Red Hat Society and T.O.P.S.  She loved spending time gardening, watching hummingbirds, and various arts and crafts.  She loved spending time with her family and going on trips to Myrtle Beach with the love of her life, Terry.  She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.  Friends received Tuesday from 5 to 9 p.m. and  Wednesday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc., Broad Street. Funeral Mass will be held Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at Resurrection Parish. Committal will take place at Grandview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in her memory.
