Stephen R. Fabina

FABINA – Stephen R., 73, of Brownstown, passed away on February 3, 2022, at home. Born June 17, 1948, in Johnstown the son of Stephen E. and Emily “Midge” (Klonicki) Fabina. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Patricia and brother, David. Survived by his loving wife, Mary Ann (Safko) Fabina; daughters: Alison, wife of Jamie Stucchio; and Melissa, wife of Justin Knecht; son, Stephen J. Fabina; grandchildren: Jacob, Jonah, Isabella, Ava, and Elizabeth. Also survived by sister, Debbie, wife of Dave Zierer; brother, Dennis Fabina married to Dana Iachini-Fabina. Also, Stephen Fox and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was known to all as a good friend and family-man, and will be missed by many.  He was a member of the PA National Guard.  Stephen was retired from Bethlehem Steel Corp. and was a member of the CFU, Street Survivors Car Club and St. Michael of the Archangel Catholic Church, Brownstown.  Friends will be received from 2-8 p.m. Sunday at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home, Inc., 710 Broad Street where vigil service will be held. Funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m.  Monday at St. Michael Catholic Church, the Very Rev. Mark S. Begly, VF.  Private committal will be held at a later date. A special thank you to so many friends and family that were generous with their time and compassion during dad's illness.
