Terrie Rochelle "Ferg" (Ferguson) Cashaw

CASHAW – Terrie Rochelle “Ferg”, 69, of Johnstown, passed away on July 10, 2022. Born August 12, 1952, in Johnstown the daughter of Nathaniel and Louvenia (Spencer) Ferguson. Preceded in death by her parents; life partner, Frank Williams; and sister, Carmen Spencer. She is survived by her daughter, Carmen, married to Anton McBride, of O’Fallon, IL; sons, Devon and Daryl Cashaw, of Johnstown, PA; grandchildren: Iesha Ferguson, Malik Cashaw, Antonelle McBride, Sydney McBride, Dakira and Koby Cashaw, and 4 great-grandchildren. Also survived by devoted friends, Joyce Jordan, Velma (Jordan) Owens, and Mrs. Karen Carter-Brandon, along with a host of cousins and friends. Terrie was a graduate of Greater Johnstown VoTech. She worked as a Teacher’s Aide in the Johnstown School District and later retired from UPJ. She was the party girl that lived her life to the fullest, then quietly retreated into home life.  Terrie loved to dance, cook, watch TV, and was an avid reader.   She had a quick-witted sense of humor, straight up, no chaser. Homegoing service will be held Saturday, July 16, 2022, at 12 noon at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, 206 Peelor Street, Johnstown, PA 15901, Rev. Clyde Williams, Jr. officiating. The family is being served by the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home, Inc., 710 Broad Street.
