RHOADES - Terry W., 75; Brownstown, passed away on April 27, 2023 at Conemaugh Hospital. Born February 14, 1948 in Johnstown, son of Richard and Phyllis (Nagle) Rhoades. Preceded in death by parents; and brother, Robert “Bruce” Rhoades. Survived by loving wife, of 48 years, Elizabeth (Freiwald) Rhoades; son, Nicholas Rhoades and his special sweetheart, granddaughter, Alison Rhoades, all of Johnstown. Also survived by brother, James Rhoades; sister-in-law, Maryann; nephews, Tim and Jim and their families; and sister-in-law, Cindia and her family, Ft. Worth, TX. He honorably served in the U.S. Army in Germany and Vietnam, as a Sergeant. Terry was a golfer and avid runner participating in the Johnstown Marathon in 1999. He was employed as a lead office furniture installer at the former Keystate Office Furniture, later becoming Supply Source. A member of St. John Gualbert Cathedral, where he served as an Usher and a Eucharistic Minister; and where Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, The Very Rev. Matthew B. Baum. Committal will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, where V.F.W. Post 155 Ritual Team will perform honors. Friends received Monday from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc., Broad Street.
