BATZEL – Theresa Arleen, 89, of Johnstown died October 9, 2020, at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. Born December 28, 1930, in Summerhill, PA the daughter of William and Roseanna (Plummer) Jones. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, William H. Batzel; brothers and sisters: Mary Jean Jones; Vernon Jones; Claire Lysinger; and Dennis Jones. Survived by her sons, William J., married to Rosemary (Babish) Batzel; and Thomas Batzel, both of Johnstown; grandchildren, William, married to Kara (Auck) Batzel; and Christopher, married to Danielle (McCoy) Batzel; great-granddaughter, Eleanor Reese Batzel; and beloved sister, Georgia Farabaugh. Private family visitation will be held at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home, Inc., 710 Broad Street. However, family and friends are invited to attend a funeral Mass 11 a.m. Monday at Resurrection Parish Fr. George M. Gulash officiating. Committal will be held at Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
